Cookie Policy
Last updated: 20 July 2026. This policy explains how SriWatt, operated by Matrika OÜ, uses cookies and similar technologies (local and session storage) when you use our website and app. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. “Local storage” and “session storage” are related browser technologies that keep small amounts of data in your browser. We group all of these as “cookies” below.
2. Everything here is strictly necessary — there is nothing to accept or reject
Every cookie SriWatt sets is strictly necessary to run the service (signing in, security, remembering your preferences) or is an essential technical measure to operate, secure and improve it (performance monitoring and error diagnosis — see §4). Both are exempt from consent under the EU ePrivacy Directive. We run no optional analytics or advertising cookies, so unlike many sites there is no accept/reject choice to make here — the notice banner you may have seen is purely informational, and dismissing it doesn’t change what runs. You can re-open it anytime from the “Cookie notice” link in the footer.

4. Essential performance & error monitoring
To keep SriWatt fast, reliable and bug-free, every page silently reports a small set of technical signals to our own servers: Core Web Vitals (load speed and layout stability), uncaught software errors, and a bare count of which routes were visited. This runs on every page, for every visitor, and cannot be turned off — but it is not “analytics” in the tracking sense, and it is not itself a cookie:
- It carries no visitor, session, device or account identifier of any kind — no cookie, no local storage entry, no IP address, nothing that could link two events back to the same person or device. Each report stands entirely on its own.
- There is no cross-site tracking, no profiling, and no data is sold or shared with third parties.
- The only fields recorded are: the page path (never the query string), a coarse route category (e.g. “app” or “marketing”), a coarse device category (desktop/mobile/tablet, from screen width — never your User-Agent string), the metric name and value, and, for a software error, its message.
- It is used solely to see where the product is slow or breaking, and to fix it — never for advertising or to build a picture of any individual visitor.
- It is read only by our own internal team, through an admin-only dashboard.

5. Third-party services
Some pages embed services that may set their own cookies when you interact with them — for example the Google Maps location picker and Stripe checkout. Their cookies are governed by those providers’ own policies. See the Google Privacy Policy and Stripe Privacy Policy.
6. Controlling cookies in your browser
Besides the notice above, you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the service (such as staying signed in) from working. Browser cookie settings have no effect on the performance/error beacon in §4, since it does not use cookies or local storage in the first place.
